DENISE QUINLAN

Dr Denise Quinlan contributes to the development of wellbeing in education and the workplace through her research, programme development and face-to-face consulting and training.  She founded the New Zealand Institute of Wellbeing & Resilience with fellow academics to ensure the promotion of wellbeing was backed by rigorous scientific evidence. 

In addition to wellbeing work in New Zealand and Australia, Denise teaches strengths-based team development to senior managers from the USA, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and on IE University’s Executive Masters in Positive Leadership and Strategy programme in Madrid, Spain.  As a Research Fellow at the University of Otago, she developed measures of cultural responsiveness at the National Monitoring Study of Student Achievement (successor study to NEMP) and currently leads intervention delivery in a study to support university student wellbeing.
